Complete stitching stages of polo shirt manufacturing process.

Label stitching, moon tuck joining

Sewing label on to the moon (back part of the inside of the polo shirt, in the shape of half moon) by overlock sewing machine. Moon joining with the back part by singer/plain sewing machine.

Placket fusing - Nose tagging

Placket is the opening between the sides of the collar and here buttons are located. Placket is fused with hand iron and marked accordingly to its correspondent hole. Plackets are joined with the front part and top stitched by flat lock sewing machine. Scissoring the front part of the placket so that button are easily slide and are well tucked. Now Nose-tagging by singer/plain sewing machine.

Top shoulder stitching

Joining of the two parts (front and back) at the top shoulder by overlock sewing machine. Then shoulder top stitch by flat lock sewing machine.

Collar attaching

Attaching/joining collar with the body by overlock sewing machine. Collar top stitching by flat lock sewing machine.

Sleeve attaching at armhole

Sleeve joining (left and right) with the body by over lock sewing machine. Armhole top stitching by flat lock sewing machine. Sleeve tagging by plain/singer sewing machine so as to facilitate easy positioning when side seaming.

Cuff Hemming

Cuff joining with sleeve by overlock sewing machine. cuff top stitching by flat lock sewing machine

Side Seaming

Side seam stitching with the label by over lock sewing machine from armhole to the divider at the bottom with divider cut revealed at the bottom separated at hem.

Bottom Hemming

Bottom hemming by flat lock sewing machine (zigzag pattern). Piping folding and sewing by plain/singer sewing machine.

Side Cut

Cut at the side seam, starts from bottom hem up to one or half inch above the top edge of the hem (from where the hem/cuff starts).
